Obituary Nita B. Barton A memorial service for Antioch resident Nita B. Barton will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Lighthouse Baptist Church in Antioch. Burial will be private. She died Nov. 8 at Antioch Convalescent Hospital. She was 71. Born and reared in Rosebud, Texas, she completed her Licensed Vocational Nurse training in Alabama. She moved to Antioch in 1968. She worked at many hospitals for 44 years, including Delta Memorial Hospital in Antioch, before retiring in 1988. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, crafts, and doing home care. She belonged to the Lighthouse Baptist Church and the Hospital Workers Union, Local 250. She is survived by two sons, Hershel G. Barton Jr., of Oakley and David Scott Barton of Antioch; three sisters, Francis Greer, LaRue Cliffton and Ryllis Hudson, all of Texas; a brother, Guy Huddleston of Texas; and four grandchildren.
