Hammond Willey MAURICEVILLE (Spl) - Funeral services for Hammond Stark Willey, 88, of Texla Road, Mauriceville, will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Fuller Funeral Home. The Rev. George Brittain, pastor of First Baptist Church of Mauriceville, will officiate. Burial will follow at Jett Cemetery. Deacons of the First Baptist Church of Mauriceville will serve as pallbearers. Willey died todat at 2:20 a.m. at Orange Memorial Hospital after an illness. He was a member of a pioneer Orange County family. He was a retired cattleman, lumberman, former Precinct 4, county commissioner, a deacon and member of the First Baptist Church of Mauriceville. He was also a member of the Orange County Farm Bureau. He is survived by his wife Violet Willey of Mauriceville; two sons Harris E. Willey of Mauriceville and Ernest H. Willey of Orange; two sisters, Azalea King of Mauriceville and Louise Crew of Orange; three brothers, Lee Willey and Marshall Willey, both of Mauriceville, and Bailey Willey of Uvalde, Texas; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
