Birmingham News (AL) - January 15, 1996 Deceased Name: BEASLEY, REV. BUELL BEASLEY, REV. BUELL age 85, of Haleyville, AL., died January 15, 1996. Chapel service will be January 19, 1996, 2 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Chapel with burial in Winston Memorial Cemetery. Dr. T.B. Stringfellow, Blanton Adair and Todd Evans officiating. Survivors: wife, Gladys Beasley; sons, Alvin and Barry Beasley of Haleyville, AL., and Denver Beasley of Cullman; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Billy Beasley of Hubbertville, AL., Garland Beasley of Dallas, Tx., and Darold Beasley of Center Point; sisters, Florene McQuater of Redding, CA., May Hubbert of Sacramento, CA., Nell Box of Brilliant, AL., and Alene Hunt of Satalite Beach, FL.; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Beasley was former Pastor of the Flat Creek Baptist Church, Hopewell South Baptist Church of Jefferson County, New Prospect Baptist Church, Ephesus Baptist Church of Haleyville, Ryan Creek Baptist Church, Bethsada Baptist Church of Cullman, Holtville Riverside Baptist Church of Elmore County, Meek Baptist Church of Arley, AL., and Oaklona Baptist Church of Town Creek, AL. Mr. Beasley was a minister for 52 years and a member of Corinth Baptist Church in Haleyville, AL. Nichols Funeral Home of Haleyville directing.
