(Published in Borger News Herald, January 12, 1979) Mrs. Fairy Mae Gosnell, 62, of 1020 Thrams died at 9 a.m. Thursday at North Plains Hospital. Mrs. Gosnell was a resident of Borger for 27 years. She came from Ada, Okla. For 18 years she was a bookkeeper at Hub Clothiers and was a bookkeeper at the OCAQ Credit Union until January 1978. She was a member of the First Christian Church. Services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the First Christian Church with the Rev. Jeff Holder, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Cemetery under direction of Alexander-Simpson. Pallbearers will be Ted Owens, O.M. Malone, Harold Cobb, Bill Cooper, Bill Brownlee and A.L. Speegle. Survivors are her husband, T.R. of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Jeanne Ann McCoy of Fritch and Mrs. Betty Cheek of Midwest City, Okla.; a sister, Mrs. Ann Emerson of Bay City; a brother, James R. Davis of Odessa; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
