Bio
Joseph Alexander Warren married Carrie Lou Bailey in Seymour Co. Texas. They had 9 children: Ruben A., Maggie Antonette Warren Smith, Ruby Joyce Crownover, Elnor Murrell Warren Maness, Gladys Jo Warren Teague, Doris Bost, William Thomas, Joseph Alex and Carolyn Warren. ∼ Services for J.A. Warren were held in the First Methodist Church in Seymour. Born in Goliad, Texas, he moved with his parents to Baylor County in 1902 settling in the Ogden Community. He lived on the same farm with the exception of living in Wichita Falls from 1925 to 1933. He married Miss Carrie Bailey on 14 October 1914. Mr. Warren had been a member of the Methodist Church since boyhood. He was a devoted husband and faithful Christian. Surviving are his wife and children - J.A. Warren, Jr., Mrs. Willard Rogers, Mrs. Gaines Maness, Mrs. John Crownover, Mrs. J.D. Bost, Mrs. Gene Teague; 12 grandchildren; brothers and sisters - Raymond Warren, Lee Warren, Mrs. L.E. Robertson, Mrs. C.C. Sanders, Mrs. Horace James, Mrs. I.J. Wehmyer, Mrs. Ellie Swindell. Baylor County Banner April 7, 1955
