aged 97 yrs NORFOLK -- Emma Marie Jedlicka, 97, of Norfolk, formerly of Dodge, passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2010, at the Golden Living Center in Norfolk. Visitation will be 4:30-7:30 p.m., with a 7:30 p.m. vigil, Sunday, at the Minnick Funeral Chapel in Dodge. Interment will be at a later date in St. Wenceslaus Cemetery at Dodge. Emma Marie Jedlicka was born October 23, 1912, at Dodge to Frank and Marie (Semerad) Brichacek. On October 7, 1930, she was united in marriage to Joseph Jedlicka at Tabor. The couple farmed near Tabor until 1938, when they moved into Dodge. Joe passed away on February 29, 1972, and Emma moved to Norfolk shortly thereafter. The past two years she had been a resident of the Golden Living Center in Norfolk. Survivors include her son, Norman and wife, Nadine Jedlicka, of Columbus; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, JoAnn and husband, Don Schmitz; and brother Adolph and wife, Lillian Brichacek.
