was born in Kendalville, Jefferson, Alabama to William E Belcher 1821–1862 and Nancy Taylor 1821–1880...I have no idea what Kendalville goes by today in 2010....death certificate states burial at Mount Zion Cemetery in Hopkins County...married to Harriet C Carlisle on 1/28/1872 in Jefferson County, Ala.
