Bio

Alton C. Booker was born July 10, 1915, in Talpa, Texas, and was married February 28, 1942, to Margie Lee Trippitt in Ballinger, Texas. He moved to Hobbs in 1960 and worked in the oilfields until his retirement in 1978 with Ralph Johnson Company. He was survived by three sons, Preston Brooker, Dale Brooker and C.D. Brooker; one daughter, JoAnn Ybarra; one brother, Almer Brooker; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
