Owen was the son of Charles Richard and Mae (Chandler) Sproles and the husband of Mary Stella Guthrie whom he married Nov 3, 1908, at Lynn Co., Texas. Their children were: Mary Zelda, Baby, Owen Jr, Paul Edward, and James.
