Bio

Came to Grand Island, NE in 1887. Married Minnie Balcom 25 Dec 1889 at Grand Island, Hall, NE, but they later divorced. He was a mason and moved houses as a sideline. He represented the fourth ward of Grand Island on the city council from 1901 until 1917. He was a councilman when Broadwell street in Grand Island was made a street and named after him. Suicide. A full account of his passing appears in the Tuesday, 13 January 1920 issue of the Grand Island Daily Independent.
