JONES, BEEKMAN RESIDENT James Eric Jones, 69, a resident of Beekman community for 38 years, died at 3:35 am Thursday, November 11, 1943, at his home after a two-week illness. Funeral services were held Friday at 11 o'clock at Causey Cemetery in Second Ward, with the Rev. Walter Brasswell, pastor of the Pine Grove Baptist Church, Bastrop, officiating. Mr. Jones is survived by his wife: Mrs. Nancy Jones His son: Arnold Jones of Beekman One sister: Mrs. Jeff Moore of Bastrop One grandchild: James Irvin Jones of Beekman One nephew: Jim H.
