Palestine, Texas -- Mr. Dallas McCullough, age 86, of Palestine, Texas formerly of McKinney, Texas passed away on November 28, 2003, in Palestine. He was born on September 23, 1917, in Manchester, Tennessee to Richard and Lillie (Lemmons) McCullough. He married Frances Thomas on October 17, 1949, in Durant, Oklahoma. Mr. McCullough was a carpenter and was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his wife, Frances McCullough of Palestine, Texas; son, Charles McCullough also of Palestine; grandchildren, Ben Davidson of Farmersville, Texas, Stacy Flannigan of Brooklyn, New York, Donnie Davidson of Augusta, Georgia, and Mark McCullough of Garland, Texas; 10 great grandchildren; niece, Frances Simmons and nephew, David Andrews both of Wylie, Texas. Mr. McCullough was preceded in death by his parents; son, Don; 1 sister; 1 brother and 1 great grandson. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, December 2, 2003, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Danny Buster and Rev. Franklin Harrold officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM, Monday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home. Pallbearers for the service will be Ben Davidson, Mark McCullough, Donnie Davidson, David Andrews, Larry Denison and Doyle Denison.
