(Published in Borger News Herald, February 22, 1961) Funeral services for O.G. Ross, 76, are pending at Minton Mortuary. Mr. Ross died at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday in North Plains Hospital. He had been a resident of Borger for 33 years. Survivors include his wife of the home, 704 Harvey; two daughters, Mrs. Freda Clark, LaJunta, Colo., Mrs. Hazel Schultz of Rocky Ford, Colo.; three sons, Cecil of Shreveport, La., Raymond and Earl of LaJunta, Colo.; three sisters, Mrs. Minnie Blowers, Mrs. Maude Brown, Arnold, Neb., Mrs. Edith Campbell, Pendleton, Ore.; four brothers, John of Pendleton, Ore., George of Platt Mouts, Nebraska, Allie of Nort Platt, Neb., and Floyd of Grand Island, Nev.; 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren. ------ (Published in Borger News Herald, February 23, 1961) Funeral services for O.G. Ross, 76, of 704 Harvey in Borger, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the Minton Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Moore, pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of the Minton Mortuary. Ross died at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday in North Plains Hospital. He had been a Borger resident for 38 years.
