Fort Worth Star-Telegram (TX) - July 21, 1992 Deceased Name: Kenneth Coble ARLINGTON - Kenneth Coble, a disabled World War II Army veteran, died Monday at a Grand Prairie nursing center. He was 78. Funeral will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Hugh M. Moore & Sons Funeral Home in Arlington. Burial will be in Moore Memorial Gardens. Mr. Coble was born in Lometa, Lampasas County, and had lived in Arlington for 12 years. He was a member of Disabled American Veterans, the American Legion and received the Purple Heart and several other combat medals during World War II. Survivors, all of Arlington: Wife, Ruth Coble; two sons, Kenneth Coble and Allen Winn; daughter, Martha Dickenson; six grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
