Marguet Wanda Simpson, 87, of Taswell, formerly of Lafayette, died at 2:04 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2010, at University of Louisville Hospital. She was born May 24, 1922 in Crawford County to the late George and Lena Kemp Coleman. On Sept. 28, 1946, she married Elmore Simpson in Kentucky. He preceded her in death on March 27, 1984. Surviving are her son, Bobby D. Simpson (wife: Linda M.) of Lafayette; a sister, Myrtle Brumley (husband: Ray) of Corydon. a grandson, Wesley Simpson and two great-granddaughters, Tiffany and Crystal.
