James Thomas was born to James Henry and Mary A Nelson Ford. James had twelve siblings, known to me, and they were Anderson Franklin, Benjamin, William Mericus, Jesse B, Mary Virginia, Amie, Andrew Boston, Celia Belle, Fannie Evelyn, Maggie A, Charles H, and Samuel "Archie" Ford. On July 5, 1894, James married Nancy Pinkie Dosier and together they had eleven children. Their children were James Richard, Floyd Trayman, Jesse Jordon, Fredrick Lee, Virginia May, Willie Beatrice, Bessie Doris, Odis Dee, Robert Thomas, Edward Isaac, and Lura Ellen Ford. James and his family were farmers, just as his father had done. At the age of 42, James Thomas Ford passed away. J. Albright cousin
