Mrs. Maggie Clipston Passed away suddenly at her home Tuesday morning, death being attributed to a heart attack. The news of her passing came as a very great shock to her many friends. Maggie Ayres was born at Shenandoah, Iowa, January 22, 1874, where she grew to young womanhood. At an early age she united with the Methodist Episcopal church at Shenandoah, Iowa, later transferring her membership to the M. E. church at Albion, Nebraska, where she was an active member until the time of her death. Following their marriage to John Clipston at Shenandoah, November 21, 1894, she and her husband came to Nebraska and located on a farm four miles southwest of Albion, which was their home until 12 years ago when they moved to Albion. To this union four children were born, two of whom died in infancy. Mr. Clipston preceded her in death ten years ago on July 5, 1929. Mrs. Clipston departed this life September 12, 1939, at the age of 65 years, seven months and 21 days. She leaves to mourn her departure a daughter, Mildred, and a son, Verne, of Albion; also a brother, Cloy Ayres, of Shenandoah, Iowa beside a host of other relatives and friends. Mrs. Clipston was a good wife, a loving mother and a kind neighbor. The Christian principles she learned from her parents were the controlling factors in her life.
