Information provided by Tankersley Funeral Home ------------------------- Miss Emilia C. Borg moved to the United States with her parents as a child settling in Williamson County, Texas. Miss Emilia C. Borg married Frank Oscar Burkman in 1890 at Hutto, Texas. The couple moved to Jones County in 1907. Mrs. Burkman died at the home of a son. Survived by six sons - Carl, Oscar, Adolph, Rudolph, Walter and Theodore Burkman; one daughter - Mrs. Lillie Gifford; one sister - Mrs. Hannah Rundberg; 20 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren.
