Bio

son of Hugh Will Morgan Rev. I.W. Lawrence, pastor of the Newcastle Baptist church was in charge of the funeral services held from the residence of James Henry Morgan, 63, who died at his home near Newcastle. Burial was in the family plot in the old Olney cemetery. Mr. Morgan had been a farmer and merchant of this section since 1905. He served at one time on the Ingleside school board and was active in community affairs. Survived by widow; six sons - Charles Morgan, William Morgan, Ray Morgan, Floyd Lee Morgan and Cleo Morgan; four daughters - Mrs. E.R. Stowe, Mrs. C.H. Hammond, Mrs. A.D. Reed, Mrs. B.M. Glover; two brothers - H.P. Morgan and A.R. Morgan; two sisters - Mrs. Phoebe Grimes, Mrs. Sallie Allen; 16 grandchildren.
