Josephine Ruth Alltop 78, of Indianapolis, IN, died May 4, 2005 at The Hearth at Prestwick in Avon, IN. She was born August 8, 1926 in Indianapolis, IN, to the late Stanley and Emma Veronica (Cerny) Todd. She was a homemaker. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 6, 2005 in Carlisle & Son Funeral Chapel, Mooresville. Burial will be in Fairfield Cemetery, Camby, IN. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Wallace Alltop; son, William Alltop; brother, Stanley Todd; and sisters, Martha J. Ginsberg, Helen M. Todd and Margie P. Heitzman. Survivors include her sons: Dale A. and Jeffrey D. Alltop, both of Indianapolis, Jerald W. Alltop of Noblesville and K. Bruce Alltop of Brownsburg; daughters: Susan A. Alred of Avon, Karen A. Reeves of Mooresville, Sandra A. Hancock of Myrtle Beach, SC and Sharon L. Kline of Dana Point, CA; sisters, Mary A. Sullivan of Avon; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
