PINE BLUFF COMMERCAL SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 6, 1997 MONTICELLO--Mittie McGough Tiner, 100, of Monticello, died September 5, 1997,at Drew Memorial Hospital. She was born at Possum Valley on May 26, 1897, a daughter of the late Thomas Devaney McGough and Geneva Loveless McGough. She was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Springs Baptist Church at Monticello. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Tiner. Survivors include a son, Ben Tiner of Monticello; three daughters, Vonnie Edwards, Ann Tiner and Nell Camden, all of Monticello; two sisters, Thelma McGough and Ellen Rabb, both of Monticello; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday at Pleasant Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Buddy Lemons officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Springs Cemetery in Drew County by Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home of Monticello.
