Bio

Jesse App Hodges was the son of Jesse Harmon (Pomp) Hodges and Minerva Ann (Annie) Hall of Grayson Co, TX.  His mother died only a few months after he was born and Jesse App remained with his grandparents, James George Hodges and Zylpha Jane Hall for the 1900 census in Grayson County, TX .  His father remarried Mary Isabelle (Belle) Ritter in 1897 and they left for Motley County.  Some time before 1910 Jesse App has joined his father and step-mother in Motley County.  Jesse App worked for the Matador Land and Cattle Company.  His WWI Registration is in Montana working for them there.  He married Buna/Buena Elizabeth Stewart.
