WILSON --- Funeral services for Georgia A. Weber, 94, Topeka, formerly of Wilson, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Foster Mortuary Chapel, Wilson. She died Monday, Nov. 5, 2001, at a Topeka nursing home. Mrs. Weber had worked as a clerk at Schermerhorn's Dry Goods and Zeman's Drug Store, Wilson. She was born April 20, 1907, in Rozel, the daughter of Steve Maixner and Josephine Hoch Maixner. She was a lifelong resident of the Dubuque and Wilson area. Mrs. Weber was a member of the First Presbyterain Church, Wilson, and the Order of the Eastern Star, Wilson. She married Frank J. Weber on June 8, 1940. He preceded her in death. Survivors include a son, Dr. Wallace Weber, Dubuque; a daughter, Cheryl Weber, Topeka; three sisters, Anna Anschutz, Wilson, Laverne McConnell, Bristol, Conn., and Lillain Bonnewell, Chino Valley, Ariz.; and four grandchildren. Burial will be in Wilson City Cemetery. Friends may visit from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. Friday until service time at the mortuary.
