Published in the Ord Quiz, Ord, Nebraska, Thursday, October 31, 1918, Page 3, Column 3, 4 & 5 ADOLPH KLUNA Adolph Kluna, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Kluna, was born in Valley county, Nebraska, on the 27th of July, 1888, lived here ever since with the exception of holding down a claim for 2 years in South Dakota. He died of pneumonia at Fort Riley, Kansas, on the 12th of October, 1918, being 30 years, 3 months and 27 days old. He was called to the colors several months ago. He spent about 4 months in rapid training at Camp Funston, Kansas. He leaves to mourn his departure his mother, father, 2 brothers and 2 sisters, besides a host of friends and relatives. He was brought home from camp Wednesday evening and funeral services were held here Thursday morning by Rev. Frederick Held the residing minister and Rev. Slocum and John W. Long, both of Loup City.
