OBITUARY: Aug 12, 1993, The Fort Worth Star-Telegram. Ona Marie McBroom, a homemaker, died Monday at a Greenville hospital. She was 87. Funeral will be at 1 p.m. today at Brown, Gause-Ware, Owens & Brumley Funeral Directors. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Mrs. McBroom was born in Snyder and lived in Greenville for 25 years. She was a Baptist. Survivors: daughter, Edna Lou Johns of Greenville; brother, Marvin Houchin of Lubbock; seven grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
