BELTON — Services for Leona Griffin, 76, of Morgan's Point Resort will be 2 p.m. Monday at Dossman Funeral Home of Belton with Joe Baisden officiating. Burial will follow in Moffat Cemetery. Mrs. Griffin died Thursday, Feb. 4, at her home. She was born on Aug. 3, 1933, to David and Marie Teal Dawson in Fort Worth. On April 2, 1954, she married Lou Griffin Sr. in Fort Worth. She moved here 35 years ago from Keller. She worked as a staffing specialist for 13 years at Fort Hood. She was an active supporter of the Belton Lions Club and she was a Baptist. Survivors include her husband of Morgan's Point Resort; a son, Lou Griffin Jr. of Temple; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Vista Care Hospice, 2626B S. 37th St., Temple, 76504. Visitation will be 3-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home
