Herald Coaster, February 22, 1971: Mrs. Mary Cernosek, 69, died Sunday in Polly Ryon Hospital. She was born in Fayette County May 29, 1901. Mrs. Cernosek is survived by brothers, Emmanuel and Leon Barta of Schulenburg; sisters, Mrs. Ella Kana and Mrs. Anna Kubos of La Grange. Rosary will be recited Monday at 7:30 p.m. at the Triska Chapel in Rosenberg. Funeral services will be held from Triska Chapel at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, followed by 9:30 a.m. mass at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, with Rev. J.J. Tydlacka officiating. Friends may call after 3:00 p.m. Monday at the Triska Funeral Home Chapel in Rosenberg.
