Berniece Weight Young, 84, of Springville, died Saturday, January 16, 1999, at a care center in Springville, Utah. She was born January 28, 1914, in Springville, Utah, to George A. and Hanna Lenora Childs Weight . She married Clinton L. Young in Provo, Utah, June 7, 1979. He died March 17, 1994. She is survived by two sons and two daughters: Arnold W. Brown (Elaine), Springville; Diane B. Carlen (Lynn), Stansbury Park; David W. Gunn, Springville; Virginia L. Mattinson (Butch), Spanish Fork; a sister, Iva W. Waters, Sandy; a brother, Woodrow Weight, Springville; 17 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband and two sons, Abia and Phillip, and a grandson, Bryce Carlen. Burial was January 21, 1999.
