Bio

Funeral services for Pettus F. McLemore, 68, Athens Rt. 3, were at 2 p.m. Saturday at Spry Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. C.D. Griffin officiating. Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery. Mr. McLemore died at 2:10 p.m. Wednesday at the Athens-Limestone Hospital. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Florence McLemore; two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth Hinkle and Mrs. Calvin McDonald, both of Athens Rt. 4; two sons, Everett F. McLemore of Athens Rt. 3 and Lesley B. McLemore of Nashville, TN; one brother, Hassie McLemore of Tuscaloosa; and 8 grandchildren. (Published News Courier, Athens, AL, Sunday, March 12, 1972)
