Bio

MRS. WILLIAM A. McKEE Alice Clark was born in Athens County, Ohio, June 15, 1850 and died May 5, 1924, aged 73 years, 11 months and 20 days. She was married to William A. McKee, a civil war veteran, who died October 12, 1912. To this union were born nine children, two of whom preceded their mother in death. The remaining ones who mourn the loss of their beloved mother are: Irvin, Riley, Gene, Mrs. Mary Fish and Mrs. Lydia Collins of Bloomingdale, Robert of Minneapolis and Mrs. Cora Young of La Farge. She also leaves an aged mother, 5 brothers 33 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren besides hosts of other nelatives and friends. Funeral was held, Thursday, May 8th at Salem church, conducted by Rev. E. P. Stone. LA FARGE ENTERPRISE, La Farge, Wisconsin, Thursday, May 15, 1924 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Married William A. McKee (b.1840) on 20 Jul 1866 in Athens Co., Ohio. Another child was John McKee, born 9 May 1879 in WI, died before 1924 in WI.
