The Norfolk Daily News; Norfolk, Nebraska; Monday, February 17, 1975; Page 16 E. Kohl Services are Set Services for Elmer L. Kohl, 74, Norfolk, are planned Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Home for Funerals. The Rev. Donald Williams, Methodist minister at Meadow Grove and Battle Creek, will officiate, and burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery at Tilden. Visitations will be Tuesday from 3 to 9 p.m. at the Home for Funerals. Mr. Kohl died Feb. 15 at an Omaha hospital. He was born Aug. 1, 1900 in Grant County, Okla., to Mr. and Mrs. Albert Kohl and was married to Lillian Novak. A veteran of World War II, he was a retired carpenter and had been residing at the Nebraska Veterans Home in Norfolk. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, two brothers and one sister. Surviving are two brothers and four sisters, Howard of Oroville, Calif., Ray of Tilden, Mrs. Cora Elling of Medford, Okla., Mrs. Nora Fretz of Enid, Okla., Mrs. Maude James of O'Neill and Mrs. Marie Groninger of Battle Creek. all spelling and punctuation as it appeared in the paper.
