Bio
J.B. Underwood Jr., noted farmer and rancher, passed away Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 27, 2010. Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Waxahachie. Interment: Hillcrest Burial Park. Visitation: The family will receive friends and relatives 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Memorials: Contributions may be made to the Men's Downtown Bible Class, Box 616, Waxahachie, Texas 75168. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Survivors: His loving wife of 66 years, Wilma of Waxahachie; sons, Brad Underwood of Falls Church, Va., Bart Underwood and his wife, Jean Ann, of Mesquite; daughter, Sally Shelton and her husband, Mike, of North Richland Hills; grandchildren, Chad and Sarabeth Underwood, Beth Underwood, Natalie Shelton, Eric Shelton; great-grandchild, Owen B.
