Bio

The father of Bess is Boon Johnston which is her maiden name; her mother is Frances Harrington Johnston. Bess was married to J.C. Pierce for over 30 years and was a widow for several years; she then married a man named with the surname of Alford who passed way a couple of years after they were married. (Per Frank Nolen, Findagrave contributor #46929942 and nephew of Mrs. Alford, 29 Apr 2011).
