Daisy Littleton Burkey Obit (Mrs. Elmer Burkey) Elmer Burkey changed his name to Fred Littleton sometime time after 1918. Daisy Littleton Burkey was born on May 19, 1906 at Osage, Iowa, and departed this life at a hospital in Norton, Kansas April 24, 1945, at the age of 39 years, 10 months, 24 days. She moved with her parents to Kansas City. There she was married and lived until her recent illness. About 5 years ago she gave her heart to God and united with the First Baptist church of Kansas City, of which she remained a member until her death. She leaves to mourn her departure her husband, one daughter, Geraldine, two sons, Virgil and Richard, also her parents, two sisters and a brother and many other relatives. Funeral services were held Thursday morning April 26 at the Volland chapel with Rev. E. S. Tschetter in charge. Mrs. H. D. Champlain, Miss Bonnie June Smith and Mr. Clarence Smith sang.
