Helen Jahnke, age 86 of Hempstead, Texas, passed away on February 18, 2011. She is predeceased by husband Walter W. Jahnke, Sr. and daughter Barbara Carpenter and is survived by sons, Walter "Walt" Jahnke, Jr. and wife Myrna, James H. Janke and fianc? Nanette Carr; daughter, Robbin Knebel and husband Jerry; 7 grand children and 9 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday, February 20, 2011 from 5 to 8pm. Funeral Services will be Monday February 21, 2011 at 1pm at Canon Funeral Home with Art Musgrove officiating. Interment will follow at Old Salem Cemetery in Hempstead, Texas.
