COLORADO CITY RECORD FEBRUARY 1, 1996 DORIS RUTH JONES Doris Ruth Jones, 70, of Hobbs, New Mexico died January 29, 1996 in Lea Regional Hospital, Hobbs. Funeral services were scheduled for 2 P.M. Wednesday in Immanuel Baptist Church with the Rev. Jack Lott officiating. Burial was in Prairie Haven Memorial Park under the direction of Chapel of Hope Hobbs Funeral Home. Mrs. Jones was born August 14, 1925 in Mitchell County. She Married Jack W. Jones, Sr. April 16, 1944 in Snyder. She was a homemaker and had her own business for many years as a licensed beautician. She moved from Colorado City to Hobbs, where she lived for 46 years. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters. Survivors include her husband, Jack W. Jones, Sr. of Hobbs; two sons, Jack W. Jones, Jr. and Ricky Joe Jones, all of Hobbs; one stepson, Jerry Don Jones of Los Angeles, California; daughter, Linda Baugh of Hobbs; stepdaughter Freida Bates of Marietta, Oklahoma; three brothers, Sidney McAdams of Spearman, Texas, Weldon McAdams of Big Spring, Texas and Durwood McAdams of Perryton, Texas; two sisters, Joan Long of Loraine, Texas and Katherine Barr of Hobbs.
