The Franklin Republican, Friday, April 12, 1889, Volume 45, Number 15, page 8, column 2 Crane’s Crossing ~ A small child of George Cobb was buried at Mt. Carmel Monday. Funeral conducted by Rev. Winegar. Johnson County, Indiana Index to Birth Records 1882-1920 Inclusive Volume I Book H-2 page 168, records that a white male was born on 12 August 1888 to George W.
