Grand Island (Nebraska) Independent Wednesday, 17 March 1993 SARGENT - Aleta Nellie Clark, 85, of Sargent, died Monday, March 15, at the Sargent Nursing Center. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Rhoad Funeral Chapel in Sargent with Norman Sillivan Jr. officiating. Burial will be at Cottonwood Cemetery at Burwell. (Further funeral details omitted here) Mrs. Clark was born July 23, 1907, at Burwell to Charles and Maybelle (Woods) Lenker. She lived at Burwell, Grayville, Tenn., and Riverdale before marrying Harold L. Clark on Sept. 14, 1926, at Taylor. Then they lived in Kansas, Texas and Nebraska. She was a homemaker. Mr. Clark died in 1965. She was a member of the Congregational Church at Burwell. Survivors include tow daughters, Gloria Sillivan of Arcadia and Arlene Hughes of Sargent; one son, Stuart Clark of Moreno Valley, Calif.; 13 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; four great great-grandchildren; and a sister, Neola (Mrs. Alfred Shoemaker) of North Loup.
