Bio

Son of Hiram Carroll and Emily Milly Epperson McKinney. Married Martha Tennessee Ramey Oct 10, 1867, in Pine Forest Community. They had 10 children Fort Worth Record and Register, January 1, 1910 Sherman, Tx, Dec. 31st- A message was received in Sherman today of the death of Dan McKinney, which occurred at his home in Kaufman county yesterday. He was a native of Grayson county, being the son of Carroll McKinney, a pioneer citizen of the Van Alstyne community. He was 64 years of age and is survived by a family.
