The Eugene Register-Guard Lane County, Oregon Wednesday, January 20, 2010 Joanne Alford Joanne Loy [sic] Alford of Eugene died Jan. 14 of age-related causes at age 78. No service is planned. She was born Feb. 21, 1931, in Eugene to Emery and Grace Vaughn Alford. She graduated from Eugene High School in 1950. She was disabled. Survivors include numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Arrangements by Buell Funeral Chapel in Springfield. Remembrances to Greenhill Humane Society. ~~~ She was preceded in death by an older sister, Helen Alford and her brother, Ronald G. Alford .
