Wesley Henry Simpson was named George Henry Clements at birth. His parents were Litha Stalcup and George Henry Clements. His mother died September 12, 1921 when he was 2 1/2 years old. He was living with his maternal grandparents Samuel and Florence Stalcup in 1930 at age 10. By 1940 He had changed his name to Wesley Henry Simpson and married Kathleen Akers. His social Security Records show Dec 1936: Name listed as HENRY CLEMENTS; 24 Nov 2001: Name listed as WESLEY H SIMPSON.Wesley's wife Kathleen passed away in 1978 and he remarried to Margaret Woods.
