Dennis Wayne Woolsey, Sr. of Brazoria was born on July 31, 1944 in Sumner, Nebraska and passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 4 at Herman Memorial Hospital in Houston, Texas. Dennis's family will receive friends on Saturday, Feb. 7, from 4 pm until 7 pm at Baker Funeral Home in West Columbia. Graveside funeral services will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Sterling, Colorado at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 9. Arrangements are under the direction of Baker Funeral Home, 634 S. Dennis is survived by his daughter, Colleen Wood and husband Craig of Sweeny; granddaughter, Amber Hughes and husband, Chris of Lake Jackson; spouse, Luanna Woolsey of Lake Jackson; sons, Tim Woolsey and wife Carrie of Lake Jackson and Pete Woolsey of Nevada; grandchildren, Montana Gilliam, Dakota Gilliam, Nathaniel Woolsey, Kiona Young, Natasha Shepard, Brennan Woolsey and Chara Woolsey; brothers, Paul Woolsey and wife Elly of Littleton, Colorado, Roger Woolsey of Mason City, Nebraska, Jerry Woolsey of Olympia, Washington and Henry Woolsey of Grand Junction, Colorado; sisters, Bernice Woolsey of Mason City, Nebraska, Susan Albrecht and husband Hank of Wheatland, Wyoming, Ruth Kreiling and husband Luke of McGrew, Nebraska and Martha Ramsey of Rhynelander, Wisconsin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Dennis was preceded in death by his son, Dennis Wayne "Bud" Woolsey, Jr. and parents Leonard and Mary Woolsey. To plant
