plot information thanks to Find A Grave contributor Donna Barnes #47112976 (Published in Amarillo Daily News, December 10, 1963) PERRYTON, Dec. 9 - George Samuel Yates, 68, died at 1 a.m. today at his home 26 miles south of Perryton. Mr. Yates, a rancher, was born June 7 1885, in Rutledge, Tenn. He served as county commissioner from 1952 to 1958 and was a member of the Baptist Church. Funeral services are pending with the Boxwells Funeral Directors of Perryton.
