Bio

Evelyn M. Anderson, 92, died Monday (Jan. 18, 2010), at Golden Living Center in Cozad. She was born April 13, 1917, in Lincoln to Robert and Agnes (Barnett) Bullock. She received her education and graduated high school in Lincoln with the class of 1935. On May 25, 1938, she married Lloyd Edward Anderson. She moved to California while Lloyd was serving in the Army during World War II and also lived in Wichita, Kan., Trinidad and Denver, Colo., before relocating to McCook in 1964. They moved to Cozad in 1982 following Lloyd's retirement from the U.S. Postal Service. She was a member of the Catholic church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd; her parents, Robert and Agnes; one sister, Maxine; one brother, Robert and her daughter, Judy. Survivors include her son Bob and wife, Jan of Cozad; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
