Bio

Robert was the son of John Whitfield and Gertrude Ann Williams Jenkins. His parents are buried in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Rusk, TX. He served in the U.S. Armed Forces during World War I. He was residing in Palestine at the time of his death in a local hospital. He probably shares a stone with his wife, Dollie, but his name plate has been lost off of it. He married Dollie Mcgruder 24 December 1923 in Cherokee County, TX.
