RED OAK - Funeral services for Mr. Gary S. Moore Sr., age 75, of Red Oak, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, 2009, in the Caudle-Rutledge Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Bobby McClenny officiating. Interment will follow in the Lindale City Cemetery under the direction of Caudle-Rutledge Funeral Directors in Lindale. Mr. Moore died April 3, 2009, in Dallas. He was born Nov. 20, 1933, in Smith County, the son of Sterling and Aline Tomberlin Moore. He grew up in Lindale and has lived in Red Oak since 1969. Mr. Moore served in the United States Marines during the Korean War and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ferris. He was also active in the Bill Glass Prison Ministries for several years. Mr. Moore is survived by his wife, Darla Moore of Red Oak; children, Kenneth Dale Moore and wife Pam of Anahuac, Denise Catino of Granbury, Mitchell Moore and wife Katrina of Waxahachie, Gary S. Moore Jr. and wife Ronda of Euless, and Cathy Patterson and husband Wayne of Red Oak; brother, James Moore and wife Anita of Port Lavoca; sisters, Arvalene Brown and husband Ray of Wolfe City, and Arlene Hall and husband Ross of Lindale; 15 grandchildren; and one great-grandson. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home. Published in the Tyler Morning Telegraph on 4/5/2009
