Ms. Rosa "Rose" Lee Hardin, age 80, a long time resident of McKinney, passed away May 5, 2007. She was born October 15, 1926 in Collin County, Texas (Forest Grove Community) to Claude J. and Edna Orr Jones. Rose was a service representative for Southwestern Bell and a member of East Fork Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, Dr. Stephen Lee Hardin and wife, Deborah of Victoria, Texas; grandchildren, Walker and Savannah Hardin; sister, Katha Kirkland and her husband, Jeril of Pflugerville, Texas; sister-in-law, Carole Jones of Seagoville, Texas; three nieces and two nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Edna Jones and her brother, Raymond Jones. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 7, 2007, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Ron Hathcoat officiating. Interment will follow at Pecan Grove Cemetery, McKinney, Texas. The family will receive friends beginning at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
