Atlantic News Telegraph, Atlantic, Iowa December 27, 1927, Page 7 THREE WELL KNOWN PEOPLE DIE DURING WEEKEND HOLIDAY Former Atlantic Man Dead in Bluffs. Brayton and Lewis Men Victims of Grim Reaper. Three well known residents of this vicinity were called by death over the Christmas holiday, Frank C. Lambert, former local man, dying Saturday in Council Bluffs; P. G. Sippel of northeast of the city dying last evening and I. N. Ingram, well known Lewis man, passing away suddenly Sunday night at the Atlantic hospital. Former Cass Man. Frank C. Lambert, former local man, died Saturday morning at 7 o'clock at his home in Council Bluffs, according to the word received here by relatives. Mr. Lambert was injured in a fall about a year and a half ago and had been in failing health since that time. Mrs. C. O. Brewer of this city is a sister. Mr. Lambert was born Oct. 10, 1862, in Illinois, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Lambert. He was married to Kittie I. Heath in 1883 and lived for some time in Cass county, later moving to Audubon county, where he lived on a farm southeast of Brayton. In 1913 he moved to Council Bluffs. Surviving are the widow and two children, Charles Lambert of Guthrie Center and Mrs. Ralph Bragg of Council Bluffs. Four Grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. C. O. Brewer of Atlantic and Mrs. W. J. Newton of Council Bluffs, also survive. The body arrived here last evening and was taken to the Roland Pencock & Baxter funeral home, where short services were held at 1 o'clock this afternoon and at 2 o'clock at the Brayton Baptist church, the Rev. Mr. Conrad, supply pastor of the Atlantic Congregational church officiating. Burial was in Oakfield cemetery. Transcribed as published by Karen Brewer
