Sheila Ann (Coody) Minton 1942 - 2010 Sheila Ann (Coody) Minton, age 67, formerly of Pineland, Texas, died Sunday, Jan. 10, 2010. Ms. Minton was born Aug. 12, 1942, in Pineland, Texas, as the daughter of the late Beatrice (Kirkpatrick) Cooper and Leo Coody. She was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church of Lufkin. Ms. Minton liked traveling and sightseeing. She influenced many people. She was a very proud lady and there is no one like her in her work ethics. She and her family formerly resided in Pineland, Texas. Survivors: her step-mother, Lena Coody of Diboll, Texas; step-father, Charles Cooper of Las Vegas, Nevada; daughter and son-in-law, Darla Clark Reed and Jimmy Reed of Baytown; son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Rubys Clark of Baytown; daughter, Natalie Minton of Diboll; grandchildren, Ryan Clark and Amber, Cori Clark, Jordan Clark Turner and Robbie, Delaney Reed, Taylor Weeks, and Sara Salas-Rincon; and great-grandchildren, Kylie Clark and Madison Turner. She was preceded in death by her father, Leo Coody, and her mother, Beatrice Cooper. Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 14, at the Oakley-Metcalf Funeral Chapel in Lufkin with Bro. Greg Coon officiating. Interment followed at Garden of Memories in Angelina County.
