Jess Willard White, 93, life resident and rancher of Tool, died Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2010, in Malakoff. He was born June 25, 1916, in Tool, son of the late Robert Hansford White and Mary Jones. He was a member of Missionary Baptist Church of Trinidad. Surviving are son, Robert Glen and wife Thesea White, of Tool; three granddaughters, Andra Chapman, of Midlothian; Kristi Manning, of Kaufman; Dana Chelett, of Kaufman; brother, Loyd White, of Houston. He was preceded in death by parents, Robert and Mary White; wife, Alma Naomi Kennon White; brothers, Grady, Bertie, and Paul Vernon White. Services will be held at Tomlinson Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday at 10 a.m., with Bro. Floyd Loven officiating. Internment will follow in the Tool Cemetery, Tool. Pallbearers will be Brad Chapman, Phillip White, Chock Chapman, Max Bishop, Bobby Spivey and Mark Woods.
